We accept walk-ins. Prices are £10.00pp for Camping and £15.00pp for Bunkhouse.

About Us
Gwern Gof Uchaf campsite and bunkhouse. It's a small friendly site set on a 750 acre traditional working hill farm. it is beautifully situated at the foot of Tryfan peak and Eryri National Park.
Gwern Gof Uchaf is family run campsite, bunkhouse and working farm located at the head
of Llyn Ogwen, with the farm’s boundaries stretching from the edge of the lake up to the
summit of Tryfan, and close to the summit of Glyder Fach. The farm is in the heart of an
area of exceptionally high landscape quality in the Glyderau and Carneddau mountain ranges.
Bunkhouse
The bunkhouse sleeps 14 people and is a great escape from the cold and wet Welsh weather.
*please note we do not provide bedding, only a mattress and pillow each bunk* please bring your own sleeping bag!

Tryfan
The summit stands at 917.51 metres, which confirms it as one of the 14 highest peaks in Wales at over 3,000 feet.
Whichever route you choose to go up, you have to use your hands to reach the top, so it’s only recommended for experienced and well-equipped hillwalkers who are looking for a challenge.Make sure you stay safe and always be prepared before setting out into the mountains.

Dyffryn Ogwen Valley
The valley of Ogwen is one of the National Park’s most breathtaking backdrops. The valley is a great base for exploring both the Carneddau and Glyderau mountain ranges and is home to Cwm Idwal—a jaw-dropping glacial valley famous for its geology.

Yr Wyddfa
Yr Wyddfa is Eryri’s highest peak, and although there are several mountains over 3,000 feet in the National Park, the popularity of this famous mountain is far and above the rest.
With pen-y-pass only 8.5 miles away, 14 minutes by car snowdon is also very accessible from Gwern Gof Uchaf.

Slate Museum
The National Slate Museum is located in Llanberis, at the foot of Yr Wyddfa, within the former workshops of the Dinorwig Slate Quarry. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
